The ported-over mobile version isn’t optimized for the affordances of these form factors, resulting in a subpar experience for mobile productivity users.

Leveraging a unique marketing opportunity with Microsoft, Jira can be one of the first apps optimized for the Surface Duo, positioning the product as a leader in mobile productivity solutions. A new foldable experience designed to seamlessly adapt for both single and dual screens.
Depending on the task, content dynamically extends or shifts to provide a paired high-level overview and detailed view, showing you exactly what you need without unnecessary taps or swipes.
When an expanded view isn't needed, you can easily switch back to the single-screen experience for multitasking with another app.
Dual screens allow Jira to occupy one screen while another application is open on the other, enabling smooth context sharing or interaction between the two.
A new tablet experience which utilizes a master-detail pattern to optimize for the large screen.
Depending on the context, the app adjusts to either display full-screen content or shift to a paired high-level overview and detailed view. This maximizes screen space and ensures there’s no wasted area, creating a seamless and efficient experience.
